The Praktica Super TL 1000 is a manual-focus SLR camera with a maintenance-free power source. Fairly simple to operate, this Praktica 35 mm film camera with its automatic PL-film loading system provides quick and easy loading of the film. The Praktica Super TL 1000 comes with an automatic exposure control system, which coupled with the TTL metering system and its superior lenses make it easier to take quality pictures. In addition, the beam splitter, photoelectric cell, and the light concentrator in this SLR camera let in only the required quantity of light that is necessary for composing an accurate photo. The inclined high-speed focal plane shutter release works at lightning speed to give shutter speeds between 1/1000 s and 1 s and the B setting for longer exposure times. The automatic frame counter on the Praktica 35 mm film camera is an additional feature that makes it easy to track exposures on the film. All interchangeable lenses of varying focal lengths ranging between 20 mm and 1000 mm having the international M 42x1 PRAKTICA thread are compatible with this Praktica 35 mm film camera. This includes numerous lenses with reflex-reducing multiple coatings such as Zeiss Flektogon, Zeiss Pancolar, Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar, and Meyer Orestor Pentacon lenses.
