The Realistic DX-360 (cat. no. 20-208) first appeared in the 1984 Radio Shack catalog at a price of $99.95, with the catalog noting that the radio would be available September 30, 1983. The radio is approximately 4.5 by 10.25 by 1.75 inches in size. It operates on 4 AA cells. In addition to the AM (520-1620 kHz) and FM (mono, 88-108 MHz) broadcast bands, it has six shortwave bands (4.5-5.5 MHz, 5.8-7.5 MHz, 8.2-10.0 MHz, 11.4-14.0 MHz, 14.6-18.2 MHz, 21.0-26.1 MHz), along with a long wave band (150-265 kHz). Its price was lowered to $79.95 in the 1986 catalog.
