* Union Brand model UX-100, by the then Taisei Radio Co., Ltd. (Japan)
* with crystal (piezoelectric) ear phone on a 3.5 ft. twisted wire pair, 4.5 ft. long wire antenna lead and clip, and short ground wire
* with instruction sheet, and the original box
* runs off of radio waves only (uses no external power or batteries)
* uses a tuning coil for station selection across the AM band, by turning the rocket head in and out
* uses a Germanium diode for sound detection
* with an additional 15 ft. antenna wire (not included), or 3rd prong electrical ground or heating ducts, can tune in the local Ottawa CFRA station at 580 kHz; may be able to get other stations with a better antenna
* .75 to 7/8 in. dia. x 4 3/8 hi (5.25 in. hi with rocket head turned fully out)
