Selling original paintings by Ottawa artist Simon Koo. His work covers a wide variety of subject matters, finding beauty in subjects such as rain puddles, junkyards and piglets. Through the medium of oil on canvas, his style is vibrant, precise and striking.
Simon Koo was born in Macao and came to Canada in 1970. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1976 with a master's degree in mechanical engineering. Mr Koo worked as an engineer for 16 years before quitting his job in 1992 to paint full time. Based in the Ottawa area, Koo has exhibited at a variety of art festivals and galleries.
